Starting this Thursday, presenter Roberto Leal will have Marta Belenguer, Almudena Cid, Jorge Roelas and Abel Antón as guests in the contest.
Almudena Cid Tostado (Vitoria, 1980) began practicing rhythmic gymnastics from a very young age.
He was 13 years old when he competed for the first time in an international event representing Spain. She quotes in which she achieved the gold medal in ball, the bronze overall and the team bronze within the Gimnasiada tournament.
Subsequently, it debuted at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta (USA). Cid finished in a creditable ninth place. This competition in which she would return in three more editions: Sydney 2000, Athens 2004 and Beijing 2008. She obtained the diploma in the last two and is the only rhythmic gymnast who has competed in four Olympic finals.
In 2008, after the Beijing Olympics, she announced her official retirement from high-competition rhythmic gymnastics.
Since then she has focused her professional career within the field of acting and also as a writer. She has participated in productions such as Un Paso Ahead, La Gira or Frágiles.
In the 2019 campaign he was part of the cast of The Secret of Puente Viejo.
In these years he has also been seen on stage in the productions of theatrical works such as: The Kitchen (2016), Linda Vista (2019) and A Love Story (2021).
In addition, he has written dozens of books, although his latest publication Caminar sin toes stands out, a work in which he reveals how he managed to overcome a sad breakup through sports discipline.
During the Pasapalabra stage on Telecinco Almudena Cid was invited to the program that Christian Gálvez hosted at the time. From that same program she began a relationship with the presenter that lasted 10 years until last year 2021.
