Frankfurt/Main (dpa/lhe) – On Wednesday night, an ATM in a Frankfurt bank branch was blown up. The explosion caused damage to the building, the extent of which was initially unclear, a police spokesman said early Wednesday morning. It can be assumed that the criminals stole money from the blast in the Nieder-Eschbach district, it said. Witnesses are said to have observed strangers fleeing in dark cars. Details of the amount of damage and the loot were initially unclear.
