Kassel (dpa/lhe) – In northern Hesse, the transport of medical cargo by drone is to be tested under real conditions. The EU-funded Airmour research project will be presented this Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Kassel. According to the regional management of North Hesse, an unmanned drone should start at the Institute for Pathology at the local clinic and simulate the transport of a medical device. In the future, tissue samples, organs and medicines could be transported in this way. Airmour will also be presented in Stavanger (Norway), Helsinki (Finland) and Luxembourg in the coming weeks.
