Erfurt/Leipzig (dpa/th) – People in Thuringia have to prepare for a gray sky, rain and snow at the weekend. As reported by the German Weather Service in Leipzig, on Friday it will be mostly foggy and cloudy with a maximum of four to seven degrees and a few drizzle or snow grains. Especially south of the Thuringian Forest it is still partly clear in the morning. In the afternoon it loosens up. In the upper mountains it will be a bit cooler in the permanent grey.
It continues on Saturday mostly overcast with occasional rain or drizzle at five to eight degrees, in the mountains zero to four degrees. And according to the forecast, it will also continue to rain at times on Sunday. The rain can turn to sleet in places, snowfall is expected in the mountains. It is mostly very cloudy and only occasionally clears up at three to five degrees. In the mountains, minus two to plus two degrees are expected.
