Crailsheim (dpa / lsw) – After the police found stolen goods during a traffic check in the Schwäbisch Hall district, the two suspected burglars were arrested. The two men, aged 53 and 43, drove on Monday with a presumably stolen license plate, officials said on Wednesday. They had construction machines in the car that were assigned to a theft in the Wallhausen area.

During a search of the 53-year-old’s apartment and a warehouse in Crailsheim, the police found various narcotics, prohibited weapons, a high four-digit sum of cash and other stolen goods with a value in the lower six-digit range. According to the police, an arrest warrant was issued for the man and he was taken to a correctional facility. The 43-year-old is free again. The further investigations initially continued.
