Dresden (dpa / sn) – Several Tunisian asylum seekers were deported from Saxony on Wednesday. The plane took off in the afternoon from Leipzig-Halle Airport in the direction of Enfidha, as announced by the Saxony State Directorate. There were a total of 20 adult men on board, nine of whom had applied for asylum in Saxony, and six were said to have been convicted criminals. The remaining eleven deportees were from Baden-Württemberg, Berlin, Bavaria, Hesse and one other man who was returned from the jurisdiction of the federal police.
