Gefell (dpa/th) – Thieves stole non-ferrous metal from a solar park in Gefell (Saale-Orla district). “Very high property damage” was caused, but the exact amount could not be quantified, the police said on Wednesday. The solar park is initially no longer operational. Accordingly, the thieves had targeted non-ferrous metals and opened several inverter stations during the alleged crime period between Monday evening and Tuesday morning. The police are looking for witnesses.
