Marburg (dpa / lhe) – burglars stole cable rolls worth almost 40,000 euros from a warehouse in Marburg. In the act last weekend, the thieves must have used heavy equipment, because each of the 25 stolen rolls weighs around 400 kilograms, as the police announced on Tuesday. The perpetrators are said to have gained access to the premises through an open fence and then broke open a roller shutter. So far there is no evidence of how they loaded the cable drums and what type of transport vehicles they used, it said. The police are looking for possible witnesses.
