Bayrischzell (dpa / lby) – A man was arrested during a large-scale police operation due to a bomb threat in Bayrischzell (Miesbach district). A 38-year-old announced an assassination attempt in the area via the emergency call on Sunday, the police said. The man had therefore stated that he had placed a bomb in a suitcase. In a large-scale operation, the police then searched several objects and arrested the man. But the threat was not true, there was no bomb, said a police spokesman. Among other things, the 38-year-old is now expected to be charged with disturbing the public peace.
