Münster (dpa / lnw) – Around six months after the discovery of a horribly mutilated woman’s body, a former neighbor of the victim has to answer in court. The trial begins on Monday (February 27) at 9 a.m. in Münster and the charge is manslaughter. The 26-year-old man from Greven in the Steinfurt district is said to have strangled the woman on August 28, 2022 after a dispute.

The public prosecutor assumes that he then drove the body to a wooded area about 13 kilometers away and deposited it there. He is said to have stabbed the already deceased woman several times with a knife in the chest and neck. According to prosecutors, he may have thought that the 25-year-old would still be alive.
