Dobbertin (dpa / mv) – A 21-year-old driver died in an unsuccessful overtaking maneuver between Krakow am See (Rostock district) and Dobbertin (Ludwiglust-Parchim). As a police spokesman said, the driver overtook several cars on district road 135 on Sunday afternoon, but then lost control of his car in a curve. His car went off the road to the left, hit a tree and caught fire. Several first aiders got the seriously injured from the Ludwigslust-Parchim district out of the burning car and provided first aid. But he died at the scene of the accident from his serious injuries, as an emergency doctor said. The car burned out completely. The road had to remain closed for three hours for the rescue.
