Frankfurt / Main (dpa / lhe) – In the process of a relationship drama in front of a supermarket in Frankfurt-Bornheim, the last word of the accused and then the verdict is expected this Friday (10.30 a.m.). The public prosecutor’s office called for life imprisonment for the 46-year-old man accused of murder. He killed the 24-year-old partner in October 2019 in front of the market with 33 stab wounds.

Both had previously bought the crime tool together in the supermarket. The defendant originally wanted to kill himself with it. In a first trial he was sentenced to twelve years in prison for manslaughter. However, the Federal Court of Justice reversed the verdict regarding a possible murder conviction.
