Chemnitz (dpa / sn) – As a result of a dispute between several people in Chemnitz, a 46-year-old man suffered life-threatening stab wounds. A 53-year-old man is suspected of stabbing the victim with a knife, police said on Thursday. Witnesses informed the police on Wednesday evening, officials were able to provisionally arrest the alleged perpetrator at the crime scene.
The injured man underwent emergency surgery at the hospital. According to police investigations, the two men knew each other. The responsible investigating judge issued an arrest warrant against the alleged perpetrator on Thursday. He was taken to a Saxon correctional facility.
