The President of the Government met this Monday with a group of students in the Madrid municipality of Fuenlabrada to learn about their experience with the scholarships that have helped them in their training. The act, without a call for the press, was not on Pedro Sánchez’s official agenda and it was the Secretary of State for Communication that subsequently released photographs and images of the meeting.

In them, the head of the Executive is seen talking in a relaxed way with four young people who tell him how they have been able to carry out their studies thanks to this state aid. “Let’s see how your elbows are?” He joked with one of the girls after she told him about her academic achievements.

Sánchez held this meeting with the students on the eve of the Council of Ministers approving what he qualifies as “the largest batch of scholarships in history”, with 2,520 million euros to promote youth employment.
