For example, the carnival parade starts on Tuesday afternoon (1.33 p.m.) in Dieburg in southern Hesse. “With its 99 train numbers, it is a highlight of the Dieburg carnival and lives from the rich colors and the wealth of ideas of the around 70 carnival groups,” it says. A little later, the 184th Klaa Paris carnival procession is to set off in the Heddernheim district of Frankfurt.
The Frankfurt carnival parade had already taken place on Sunday in the city center of the Main metropolis after two years of a compulsory Corona break. And on Shrove Monday, tens of thousands of people in other Hessian cities celebrated with parades, for example in Fulda, Fritzlar and Seligenstadt.
