Asselfingen (dpa / lsw) – In the Alb-Donau district, a regional train is believed to have been hit by two shots. No one was injured in the incident on Thursday evening and the shots did not penetrate the windows, police said on Friday.

The train driver assumed a rockfall and only saw the damage when he checked the train in Ulm, the police said. Two windows were splintered, but there was no danger to the passengers. The State Criminal Police Office took over the investigation.
