Karlsruhe (dpa/lsw) – The website of Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden Airport was temporarily unavailable on Thursday. A spokesman assumed a hacker attack in which the site received so many inquiries that it collapsed. Other airports were also affected. A hacker attack was also suspected in Nuremberg.
In North Rhine-Westphalia, Düsseldorf and Dortmund were temporarily affected. Troubleshooting was still going on there. The Erfurt-Weimar Airport website has been shut down. The Internet provider is checking whether it is a hacker attack, said a spokesman. Effects on air traffic as a whole were not initially known.
