Frankfurt/Main (dpa/lhe) – After a serious traffic accident, a man has to answer to the Frankfurt Regional Court on suspicion of attempted murder from this Thursday. The indictment alleges that the 28-year-old from North Rhine-Westphalia caused a rear-end collision in Frankfurt’s Westend in July 2021, in which the driver of a small car was seriously injured. Irrespective of this, he is said to have left the scene of the accident immediately and thus accepted the possible death of the injured person. The two 24-year-old fellow occupants of the car are also accused of aiding and abetting. The jury has scheduled seven days of trial until mid-March.
