Frankfurt/Main (dpa/lhe) – There will be a race in the U23 class again this year at the Eschborn-Frankfurt cycling classic. After the junior race could not take place for three years due to corona, more than 160 junior riders are expected to take part in the bike race on May 1st, as the organizer announced on Wednesday in Frankfurt. Like the professionals, the U23 riders also start in Eschborn and drive through the Taunus to the finish in front of the Old Opera in Frankfurt. 23 teams from twelve nations are expected at the U23 cycling classic, which is considered a stepping stone for the best young riders – including the national teams from Austria and Luxembourg.
