Wiesbaden (dpa/lhe) – The major shareholder of the composite material manufacturer SGL Carbon will resign as chair of the supervisory board at the next general meeting and leave the board. In a statement on Monday, SGL Carbon cited “personal reasons” for Susanne Klatten’s move. The search for a successor should begin soon. The Wiesbaden-based company assumes that the seat on the supervisory board will be filled at the annual general meeting on May 9th. Klatten’s commitment as the main shareholder of SGL Carbon remains unaffected by the decision.
