Offenbach (dpa / lhe) – People in Hesse can expect a rainy and cloudy weekend. Only in the north of the country can it loosen up on Friday from the afternoon, as the German Weather Service (DWD) announced in the morning. The temperatures reach a maximum of eight to eleven and three to seven degrees in the mountains. Stormy gusts can occur throughout the north and at high altitudes. In the night to Saturday, freezing drizzle or even some snow grains are possible in mountainous areas. Temperatures drop to six to two degrees at night in the rest of the country.

On Saturday, the DWD is expecting only a little drizzle, but very cloudy weather before it is likely to rain more frequently on Sunday. Towards Sunday afternoon there may be some loosening from the north-west, but there may also be occasional showers.
