Niederkrüchten (dpa / lnw) – Unknown people blew up two ATMs in the anteroom of a bank in Niederkrüchten (Viersen district). According to their statements, several witnesses informed the police early Friday morning about two explosive noises coming from the direction of the bank. At least two people are said to have fled in a gray car in the direction of Schwalmtal-Lüttelforst. It was initially unclear whether the perpetrators stole money. Both the machines and the room were severely damaged by the blast. There were no injuries.
