Würzburg (dpa / lby) – The Würzburg Baskets signed a new player for their guard positions shortly before the start of the second half of the season. As the basketball Bundesliga club announced on Thursday, the American Dayon Griffin signed a working paper until the end of the season. The 27-year-old was brought in as the successor to Xeyrius Williams, who left in January, and comes from the top Hungarian league. “He has a solid throw, can also pass well and is a team player,” said Würzburg’s sports manager, Kresimir Loncar, explaining the future cooperation with the 1.96 meter tall basketball player.
