Bietigheim (dpa / lsw) – Managing director Volker Schoch and the chairman of the supervisory board Gerhard Kaufmann will no longer work for the Bietigheim Steelers from the coming season. This was announced by the club of the German Ice Hockey League (DEL) on Wednesday evening. Kaufmann has been with the Steelers since 2008, and Schoch has been in charge of the business since 2014. Together, the two leaders celebrated promotion to the DEL and staying up in the league as well as four championships in the DEL2. “We’re looking with the board at how we want to position ourselves in the future and on which areas we can focus even more on the club so that the goals we have set can be achieved,” said President Christoph Heinzmann.
