Bavaria: forgotten instead of stolen: witness finds missing car

Karlstein am Main (dpa / lby) – memory lapse instead of theft: A newspaper reader found a supposedly stolen car near Karlstein am Main (Aschaffenburg district). According to police on Tuesday, the owner reported the car stolen in mid-January. After a witness call in the newspaper, a reader remembered the car – it was undamaged near a train station. The owner – according to the police a “younger man” – had probably simply forgotten where he had parked his car and therefore suspected thieves.
