Leipzig (dpa/sn) – Four people were injured in a fire caused by a deflagration in an apartment in Leipzig. As the police announced on Tuesday, a 43-year-old wanted to fan a bio-ethanol open on Monday evening. That was when the deflagration happened. The man and three women aged 40, 55 and 57 were taken to hospital with injuries. The affected apartment is no longer habitable. The premises below were damaged by firefighting water. The police launched an investigation into negligent arson.
