Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) – The financially troubled VfB Stuttgart will be working with the sports rights marketer Sportfive from the coming season. The contract will initially run for five years, as the Bundesliga soccer team announced on Monday. VfB keeps “all marketing rights in its own hands and is still a direct contractual partner for existing and potential sponsors,” the Swabians said in a statement. “As a result, full decision-making authority in all commercial issues remains with VfB.” In addition, the Stuttgarters will receive an immediate payment in an undisclosed amount.
