Rostock (dpa / mv) – A drunk driver was seriously injured in an accident on the B103 city motorway in Rostock. The 35-year-old driver drove into the vehicle of a 36-year-old for reasons that have not yet been clarified, as the police announced on Sunday night. The 35-year-old had to be taken to a hospital with suspected internal injuries. A breath alcohol test showed the man had a blood alcohol level of 1.9. The 36-year-old and his 32-year-old passenger were not injured. Both vehicles were totaled, police said. Overall, the property damage is estimated at 35,000 euros. The B103 in the direction of Warnemünde was completely blocked for several hours due to the salvage work.
