Ladenburg (dpa / lsw) – A pedestrian was hit by a car and killed in the Rhein-Neckar district. She died at the scene of the accident from serious injuries, the police said on Saturday. According to initial findings, she stepped out of a dirt road onto the street near Ladenburg on Friday evening without paying attention to the traffic. She was hit by a car as it overtook another. The officers were initially unable to identify the woman because she did not have any papers with her. A pastor took care of the driver on site.
