Bahlingen am Kaiserstuhl (dpa/lsw) – The police estimate the damage after a fire in a former restaurant in Bahlingen am Kaiserstuhl (Emmendingen district) to be in the mid-six figures. The fire early on Saturday morning caused the roof structure and the first floor of the empty house to collapse. Five firefighters were slightly injured during the extinguishing work. The post-extinguishing work continued in the morning. The police have opened an investigation into the cause of fire.
