Wölfersheim (dpa/lhe) – A 42-year-old man was trapped in a van in a collision on Autobahn 45 and injured. He had previously hit the back of a truck near Wölfersheim (Wetteraukreis) on Thursday, the police in Wetterau announced on Thursday. Firefighters extricated him from the van and took him to a hospital. The driver of the truck was not injured and was later able to continue driving. The truck was towed away and was a total loss. Police estimate the damage to property at $50,000.
