According to initial findings on Thursday morning on the B9 in Bedburg-Hau, the driver left the road in a right-hand bend on a wet road and initially drove against traffic signs, the police said. He then drove his car into a tree and was seriously injured. The blocking of the section on the B9 has now been lifted. No information has yet been given on the extent of the damage.
