The Popular Party has decided to return the disdain to the second vice president of the acting Government and leader of Sumar, Yolanda Díaz, by sending a letter to the parliamentary spokesperson of the coalition, Marta Lois, signed by Cuca Gamarra, in which she proposes maintaining a meeting to discuss in the framework of the investiture negotiations, next Tuesday the 12th. If she accepted, she would not be received by Gamarra herself but by the general secretary of the parliamentary group, Carlos Rojas.
From the PP it is specified that it was Yolanda Díaz, leader of Sumar, who ruled out, even before any proposal for a meeting was sent to her, holding a meeting with Alberto Núñez Feijóo. The same sources take the opportunity to disgrace Díaz that he does have time to “act, on behalf of the Government of Spain, as a mediator with a fugitive from Justice but not to meet with the candidate designated by the King to try to form a Government.”
Furthermore, from the PP it is reported that Gamarra has offered the BNG deputy, Néstor Rego, several dates to hold a meeting this week. His Rego accepts the proposal, the parliamentary spokesperson for the popular party will disfigure “his contempt for the King for not having attended the round of contacts called by Felipe VI” and will remind him that “there is no better way to defend the interests of Galicia than to support to the candidate most voted for by Galicians”, that is, they emphasize, Núñez Feijóo, who “obtained 13 seats in Galicia against only one of the nationalists.
