Limburg (dpa / lhe) – After a knife attack on the Limburg station forecourt with a seriously injured person, the suspect has been temporarily housed in a psychiatric facility. The 28-year-old is said to have seriously injured a 54-year-old with a knife on Sunday, according to a spokesman for the West Hesse police headquarters in Wiesbaden on Tuesday. The background to the fact is so far unclear and the subject of further investigations.
The seriously injured 54-year-old was taken to a clinic by rescue helicopter after the attack. A few hours after the crime, the man suspected of Afghan nationality was arrested in his apartment. The crime was classified as attempted homicide.
