Koenigshain (dpa / sn) – A car is on fire in the Koenigshainer Berge tunnel between Görlitz and Bautzen on the A4 motorway. The tunnel is therefore completely blocked, said a police spokesman on Monday. The car is on the road in the direction of Dresden. The police and fire brigade are on site. After the fire has been extinguished, it must be checked whether damage has occurred to the tunnel. “So the blocking can still drag on,” said the spokesman. The police did not provide any further information.
