The Spanish actor Rodolfo Sancho assured this Saturday that he is leaving Thailand “calmly”, where he has been for almost a week to visit his son, Daniel Sancho, in provisional prison for the murder of the Colombian Edwin Arrieta. He assures that he leaves calmly due to the good treatment of the authorities.
“I am pleasantly surprised, I have been very calm (…). Daniel is very well cared for by tremendously kind people, which is what I have realized that people are in this country,” Sancho explained, still from Bangkok, before traveling to Spain this Saturday.
The 48-year-old actor arrived in Thailand last Sunday and visited his son in prison from Wednesday to Friday on the island of Samui, where Daniel Sancho has been serving provisional imprisonment since August 7.
The young man, 29 years old, was arrested on August 5, when he confessed to the murder and dismemberment of Edwin Arrieta, which took place three days earlier on the tourist island of Phangan, neighboring Samui (southern Thailand).
