Oberried (dpa / lsw) – A hiker had to endure hours in the freezing cold in the dark near Oberried (Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald district). The 47-year-old threatened to support herself in the steep forest on Wednesday night until, according to the police, she could be rescued with a helicopter. The 47-year-old was hiking but lost her bearings when it got dark. Also, her cell phone battery was dead.
The police, mountain rescue service and fire brigade were deployed with two drones and a helicopter, among other things.
