Erbach (dpa / lsw) – A dryer caught fire in the Alb-Donau district and caused damage of several thousand euros. After a power failure on Saturday in his house in Erbach near Ulm, a resident went into the basement to check his fuse box, the police said on Sunday. Here he noticed thick clouds of smoke, which is why he informed the other residents and called the police and fire brigade. A technical defect is suspected to be the cause of the fire. Nobody got hurt.
