Krefeld (dpa / lnw) – After the fire in a residential building in downtown Krefeld, the fire brigade is looking for a missing man. The fire in the apartment building was reported around 3.30 a.m. on Sunday night, the fire brigade said. Around 100 emergency services were temporarily on site, said a spokesman on Sunday. Late in the morning, the fire brigade was still putting out embers. No one was injured in the fire, it said. A resident of the house is missing. However, it was not clear whether the man was at home at the time of the fire, the spokesman said. The house is no longer habitable. The police are investigating the cause of the fire.
