Bochum (dpa / lnw) – After the death of a 45-year-old in Bochum, her partner was taken into custody for manslaughter. An autopsy revealed that the woman was probably the victim of a violent crime, the police and public prosecutor in Bochum announced on Friday. The fire brigade was first called to the 45-year-old’s apartment in Bochum-Wattenscheid on Thursday because of a medical emergency. The woman’s injury picture indicated that she had been killed, it said. The officials set up a murder commission and arrested the woman’s 41-year-old partner at the scene of the crime. The homicide investigation is ongoing.
