Rüsselsheim (dpa/lhe) – After a knife attack at the train station in Rüsselsheim, in which a 17-year-old was seriously injured, a 15-year-old youth is in custody. The suspect turned himself in on the day of the crime on Wednesday, the police and the Darmstadt public prosecutor announced on Thursday. He is being investigated on suspicion of attempted murder and dangerous bodily harm. The injured 17-year-old was operated on in a hospital and is no longer in mortal danger. The background to the fact was still unclear. The police initially reported a 15-year-old victim and a 17-year-old suspect.
