Kevelaer (dpa / lnw) – An ATM has been blown up in the Kleve district. The explosion on Wednesday morning in the city of Kevelaer destroyed the machine and devastated the anteroom of the bank branch, the police said. The anteroom and the bank itself are located in a residential and commercial building that is currently uninhabitable due to the explosion. The damage to the house will be checked by a structural engineer, it said. According to witnesses, three men fled in a black car shortly after the crime. Whether they were able to steal money is still being determined.
