Wolgast (dpa/mv) – When the road is slippery, a driver crashed his car into a tree near Wolgast (West Pomerania-Greifswald) on Tuesday. The car then caught fire, a police spokesman said on Tuesday. The 58-year-old driver was able to get out of the burning car and was taken to a clinic by rescue workers. According to the information, the driver had driven too fast for the weather conditions on a country road near Zemitz. The Firefighters put out the fire.
