Meuselwitz (dpa/th) – In Meuselwitz in Altenburger Land, a 21-year-old driver stole a Christmas tree and dragged it behind him by its trailer hitch. During a police check on Friday evening, it turned out that the tree should actually be on the market square in front of the town hall, as the police announced on Monday. The 21-year-old had to return the damaged Christmas tree and now faces a charge.
