Löbau (dpa/sn) – A 26-year-old driver was able to save herself from her burning vehicle in Löbau. As the Görlitz police department announced on Saturday, the woman had just driven from the federal highway 6 onto the B 178 in the direction of Zittau on Friday afternoon when her car suddenly caught fire. Comrades from the volunteer fire brigade extinguished the car. The roadway was blocked due to the extinguishing work, the recovery of the car and the cleaning of the road. The fire site was cleared after two hours, it said.
