Hesse: 62-year-old injured in an apartment fire

Kassel (dpa/lhe) – A 62-year-old man was injured in a fire in an apartment in Kassel on Thursday. The man suffered massive smoke inhalation and was taken to the hospital, a police spokesman said. In the apartment building, only the man’s apartment was affected by the fire. The other residents of the house could have gotten to safety. The cause of the fire was not immediately clear.
