Pfungstadt (dpa / lhe) – A driver suffered serious injuries in an accident in Pfungstadt (Darmstadt-Dieburg district). According to the police, her car rammed a parked vehicle on Wednesday evening, tipped over on its side due to the force of the impact and crashed into an electrical box. In order to free the trapped woman, rescue workers cut open the roof of the car. The 53-year-old was taken to the hospital. According to initial investigations, she may have been drunk and driving too fast. The two cars were towed. The damage caused by the police estimates at around 20,000 euros.
