Schermbeck (dpa / lnw) – A small child locked himself in a car in Schermbeck (Wesel district) with a radio remote control and triggered the fire brigade. The emergency services freed the child on Wednesday evening by smashing a window of the car, according to a statement. The child was handed over to the mother. It was initially unclear why it was alone in the car.
