A 29-year-old woman died early this Saturday afternoon after suffering an accident in Caboalles de Abajo, in the Leonese municipality of Villablino, when she was participating in the II Valle de Laciana Rally as a co-driver, while the other occupant of the tourism and driver were injured, according to the 112 emergency service of Castilla y León.

The operations room of 112 Castilla y León received a call shortly after two in the afternoon announcing that a car that was participating in the aforementioned sports rally had left the road and had collided with the pillar of the goal gate. at kilometer 6 of the CL-626 highway.

As a result of the impact, the two people occupying the vehicle were injured, who also could not leave it on their own feet.

The emergency center activated the Civil Guard (Traffic) of León, the Firefighters of Ponferrada – who in turn notified the Villablino park dependent on the Provincial Council – and the emergency coordination center (CCU) of Sanitary Emergencies-Sacyl, who sent a mobile UVI, a basic life support ambulance and primary care health personnel from the Villablino health center.

At the scene, Sacyl health personnel confirmed the death of one of the injured people, a 29-year-old woman identified as Barbara G. Oubel, and treated a man of the same age, Tinín Iglesias, who was transferred later in the mobile UVI for Health Emergencies at the Bierzo de Ponferrada hospital (León).
