Taufkirchen (dpa / lby) – A driver suffered serious injuries in an accident on the rain-soaked A995. The 72-year-old slipped his car in a curve at the Sauerlach junction, the highway police said. The car was then thrown into a field and crashed into a tree after about 100 meters. The driver was extricated from his car and was taken to hospital with serious injuries. According to the first findings of the police, he was probably traveling too fast for the rainy weather.
